How to read your score
| Score | What it means |
|---|---|
| 12–15 (80%+) | Interview-ready. Your fundamentals are strong. Practise explaining these answers out loud, then start applying. |
| 8–11 (50–79%) | Almost there. A good base with a few gaps. Review your weakest topics and retake the test with new questions. |
| 0–7 (below 50%) | Build the basics. Focus on fundamentals first, using the explanations in your results, and try again in a week. |

How to prepare for a .NET internship interview
- Master the fundamentals first: value vs reference types, strings, and OOP come up in almost every .NET interview for freshers. The technical interview questions guide lists the common topics.
- Build one complete project: an ASP.NET Core Web API with Entity Framework Core and a database is ideal. Be ready to explain it end to end; see how to explain your college project.
- Learn the big picture: know how an API, a database and the runtime fit together, not just syntax.
- Practise under time pressure: many companies start with an online assessment. Read how to prepare for online coding tests.
